The deindustrialization process of Detroit has changed its urban landscape. Decay of land and abandoned buildings makes Detroit gradually turn into a ghost town.

Packard Automotive Plant

Amidst the ruins of Detroit stands the Packard Motor Plant, which once represented the height of the American Industrial Era.

The Packard Gallery, Museum, and Performance Center owned by the government of Detroit is open to the public, which is aimed at protecting the culture of Packard Automotive Plant, providing space for residents living in privately-owned housing to organize the community build activities, and enriching the civic life in Detroit.
